rage in the age

I love this new John Mayer song (slash whole new album) called 'Age of Worry'. As I've matured in my faith I think that I've gone from uneducated to freakin' rocking on the not worrying. I don't get strung up over things because God is the one with the cards and He knows when to hold them or when to fold them - not me.

I do get scared though, in fact I have many fears, namely spiders, heights, and the dark. But I like to think this is very separate from the above. I'm hoping you do too, or else my balloon is pretty much popped in shreds on the floor.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"
- Matthew 6:25-27

Alive in the age of worry
Smile in the age of worry
Go wild in the age of worry
And sing Worry, why should I care?

Don't be scared to walk alone
Don't be scared to like it
There's no time that you must be home
So sleep where your darkness falls.

Alive in the age of worry
Rage in the age of worry
Sing out in the age of worry
And sing Worry, why should I care?
- Age of Worry, John Mayer
