Because He has anointed me.
He sent me to preach good news to the poor,
heal the heartbroken,
Announce freedom to all captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
God has sent me to proclaim the year of His favour and grace — a celebration of God's destruction of our enemies—
and to comfort all who mourn,
To console all who mourn in Zion,
give them beauty instead of ashes,
Messages of joy instead of news of doom,
a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
And rename them "Oaks of Righteousness"
planted by God to display his glory.
